After obtaining a Ph.D. in Civil Procedure Law and an LL.M from the University of Oxford, Carolina began her professional journey as a commercial litigator at Clifford Chance Milan. Over the past decade, she has assisted corporations and banks in navigating a broad range of litigation risks. In addition to overseeing traditional corporate and commercial litigation, Carolina has channeled her expertise on emerging ESG themes. Currently, Carolina’s primary focus is supporting the boards of companies and financial institutions in managing risks associated with climate change, greenwashing and biodiversity loss. Carolina has contributed to various conferences on climate change litigation and greenwashing, and presently serves as the National Rapporteur for the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law at Columbia University.
