Ed Cutler is Course Director for “Biodiversity & Business sustainability”.
He is also Italian Country Manager for The European Nature Trust, as well as President of Tuscany Environment Foundation. He was born, raised and schooled in Britain but developed a passion for Italy at a young age.
From 2014 he worked in environmental technologies and also became an organic farmer in the southern end of Tuscany known as the Maremma, where he continues to produce extra virgin olive oil.
He set up the Tuscany Environment Foundation in 2020 while on lockdown with the family on the farm, the close contact with the landscape forcing the need to find a way to give something back to the territory which has become his home.
Ed brings with him years of experience working in Italy in both private and public realms, an undying passion for nature and a constant curiosity for new technologies and initiatives that help shift us towards better, more respectful behaviour as custodians of the planet.
