Director of the Independent Office of Evaluation (IOE) at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). Previously held the position of Director of the Independent Evaluation Office (IEO) at UNDP (2012-2020). A South African trained as an educator, held positions of Director: M&E (Land Affairs) (1995-2000), Chief Director and Deputy Director-General at the Public Service Commission of South Africa (2000-2012). Holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in English, Education (Hons), Geography (Hons), and Masters(USA) and a D. Phil (Evaluation) from the University of Witwatersrand. Recipient of several leadership and academic awards and published widely.
