Laura Pintore

Naturalista ed etologa appassionata di cetacei. Da ottobre 2018 svolge un Dottorato di Ricerca in Scienze Biologiche e Biotecnologie Applicate presso l’Università di Torino finanziato dal WWF Italia. Il focus della sua ricerca è l’impatto acustico di origine antropica e i suoi effetti sui cetacei del Santuario “Pelagos". È qualificata come Guida Responsabile di Whale Watching per i turisti su imbarcazioni adibite al whale watching.

Esperta di cetacei, partecipa alle attività portate avanti dall’Ufficio Mare del WWF Italia in stretto coordinamento con il Comitato Scientifico WWF, che raccoglie al suo interno alcuni dei maggiori esperti di conservazione degli oceani.

Naturalist and ethologist passionate about cetaceans. Since October 2018 she has been doing a PhD in Biological Sciences and Applied Biotechnology at the University of Turin funded by WWF Italy. The focus of her research is the anthropogenic acoustic impact and its effects on cetaceans in the "Pelagos" Sanctuary. She is qualified as Responsible Guide of Whale Watching for tourists on whale watching boats. She is an expert on cetaceans and participates in the activities carried out by the Sea Office of WWF Italy in close coordination with the WWF Scientific Committee, which includes some of the leading experts in ocean conservation.
